We are pleased to announce the opening of the Institutional Nominations Call for the University of Guanajuato’s International Summer Research Program 2026.
We invite your undergraduate students to participate in an intensive 8-week program, running from early June to late July 2026. The program offers a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful academic and cultural experiences, including:
- Research Opportunities: Direct collaboration with distinguished researchers in a variety of fields, including Engineering, Health Sciences, Natural and Exact Sciences, Humanities, and more.
- Potential Financial Support: The program registration fee is covered by the University of Guanajuato. In addition, accepted students may be eligible for a financial stipend intended to cover accommodation and meal expenses, however, please note that this support may not cover these costs in full.
- Comprehensive Experience: Includes mentorship, an introductory course designed for international students, cultural activities, and the opportunity to presentation their research outcomes.
Institutional Nomination Process:
We kindly request that you submit the application files of your nominated students, including the Letter of Institutional Nomination, as soon as possible.
- Nomination Deadline: March 2nd, 2026.
- Document Submission: The International Office of your institution must send all the required documents to international.events@ugto.mx.
- Email Subject: International Summer Research Program Nomination – [Student’s full name].
